 centralized site for iron furnace restoration supporters and ideas and suggestions
welcome! it is time for all of the supporters of
the stone blast iron furnace to band together to
stop the destruction and decay of the iron furnace
due to urban growth,residential and business or
just plain ignorance of the histoical value of
these structures.i welcome all parties with ideas
and suggestions that will help our cause. many

TO ALL YOU IRON FURNACE SUPPORTERS OUT THERE. I
AM CONCERNED OVER THE CONDITION OF ALLIANCE
FURNACE IN FAYETTE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA.
CONGRSSMAN MURTHA HAS BEEN GREAT ON MY IDEA TO
TURN IT INTO ALLIANCE FURNACE STATE PARK. BUT,
THE LOCAL STATE REP. AND THE STATE SENATOR HAVE
SHOWN VERY LITTLE INTEREST. I MAY ASK YOU
SUPPORTERS TO WRITE A LETTER URGING THEM TO
SUPPORT IMY IDEA. I WILL REVEAL MY PLAN AT A
LATER DATE TO EVERYBODY ALONG WITH THE ADDRESSES
OF THESE OFFICEHOLDERS. ALLIANCE FURNACE IS
ALREADY ON PA.STATE GAME LANDS AND IS ON THE
NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORICAL PLACES.GO TO JOHN
